How YellPost Works
Platform Overview
YellPost is a social platform for sharing updates, building communities, discovering content, supporting creators, and connecting with people, businesses, and local interests.
What you can do on YellPost
- Post updates, photos, videos, and links.
- Follow people, pages, groups, and topics that interest you.
- Create or join groups and discussions.
- Browse marketplace listings, jobs, funding posts, forums, blogs, movies, reels, and live streams.
- Support creators through paid content, subscriptions, tips, and paid live streams where available.
Accounts and access
Some features are available to all users, while creator and business tools may require a verified or approved creator account. This helps keep high-impact features safer and better managed.
Safety first
YellPost includes reporting tools, content moderation, age restrictions, adult-content controls, and verification features. If you see something that looks unsafe or breaks the rules, please report it.
Live Streaming Guide
Live streaming lets approved creators broadcast to their audience in real time. Because live streaming uses paid third-party infrastructure, access may be limited to approved creator groups.
Live stream options
- Free Live Stream: viewers can watch without paying.
- Subscribers Only: only existing paid subscribers can join.
- Paid Live Stream: viewers pay a one-time price to unlock access.
Duration
Creators can choose a live duration within the limits set by YellPost. If a live stream reaches its allowed end time, it may be ended automatically.
Paid live streams
Creators can set a viewer price within the platform limits. Paid live streams currently use a 20% platform commission, with the remaining creator share credited to monetization earnings.
Good practice
- Choose a clear title or description before promoting your stream.
- Check your camera, microphone, and internet connection before going live.
- Follow community rules and avoid unsafe or restricted content.
Payments and AI Credits
Some features use wallet payments, paid unlocks, subscriptions, or AI credits. This allows the platform to offer creator tools while still helping cover running costs such as streaming, storage, payment processing, AI usage, and development.
Digital products
Creators can also use the marketplace for digital products such as guides, checklists, templates, resources, artwork, downloads, and other file-based items. Digital products help creators sell useful material without needing physical delivery.
When digital products are used, buyers should receive clear information about what is included, while sellers remain responsible for uploading safe, accurate, and original files.
