Fees and Commissions

Some YellPost features let creators, sellers, and users earn money or receive payments. Fees and commissions help cover payment processing, platform operation, safety systems, storage, and live-streaming costs.

Current platform commissions

• Paid posts and normal monetized content: 15% platform commission.
• Paid live streams: 20% platform commission.
• Marketplace sales: 10% platform commission.
• Funding: 10% platform commission.

Payment fees

Payment processors may add fees or charges depending on the payment method. Wallet payments may be treated differently from external payment methods where shown during checkout.

Withdrawals

Minimum withdrawal amounts may apply to wallet, monetization, marketplace, funding, affiliate, and other balances. Payout methods and timing can vary by feature.

Fees and limits may be updated over time. Always check the amount shown before confirming a payment or withdrawal.

Creator Monetization Guide

YellPost gives approved creators ways to earn from content and community support while keeping the main social experience accessible.

Ways creators can earn

• Paid posts and locked content.
• Creator subscriptions where available.
• Paid live streams, including one-time paid live streams and private per-minute live streams where enabled.
• Tips, marketplace sales, and funding where enabled.

Verification and permissions

Monetization may require verification or an approved creator group. This helps protect users and reduces misuse of paid features.

Limits and commissions

• Normal monetized content currently uses a 15% platform commission.
• Paid live streams currently use a 20% platform commission.
• Paid posts and subscription plans currently have a maximum price of 250.

Withdrawals

Creator earnings may be subject to minimum withdrawal amounts and payout-method requirements. Keep your payout details accurate.

Marketplace Guide

The YellPost Marketplace helps approved sellers list products and connect with buyers through the platform.

Selling

• Marketplace selling is available to approved creator/business groups.
• Listings should include clear titles, accurate descriptions, prices, and suitable images.
• Do not list illegal, unsafe, counterfeit, misleading, or restricted products.

Buying

Review listings carefully before purchase. Check item details, seller information, price, delivery expectations, and any available order information.

Fees

Marketplace sales currently use a 10% platform commission. Payment provider fees may also apply depending on the payment route used.

Reporting listings

If a listing looks suspicious, unsafe, or misleading, report it for review.

Funding Guide

Funding posts let approved users raise support for projects, causes, ideas, or community efforts.

Creating a funding post

• Explain what the funding is for.
• Use a realistic funding target.
• Be honest about how funds will be used.
• Add a clear image and updates where helpful.

Supporting funding posts

Before contributing, read the funding details carefully. Funding support is a personal decision, and you should only contribute if you trust the post and understand the purpose.

Fees

Funding currently uses a 10% platform commission. Payment provider fees may also apply.

Safety

Report funding posts that appear misleading, fraudulent, unsafe, or against YellPost rules.

AI Credits

AI Posts and AI Images use paid AI credits where enabled. The site owner pays the AI provider in the background, so users must have enough AI credits before generating AI text or images.

• 1000 AI credits = £1.00.
• Text generation costs 1 credit per generated word.
• Image generation costs 250 credits per generated image.
• AI Blog generation is disabled because blogs are an admin/staff content area.

Paid Live Streams

Paid live streams currently use a separate 20% platform commission. This is separate from the normal paid post and creator monetization commission so live streaming costs can be managed independently.

Live stream access options

• Free Live Stream: viewers can join without paying.
• Paid Live Stream: viewers pay the one-time price shown on the live post before joining.
• Subscribers Only: paid subscribers can join as part of their creator subscription.
• Private / Per-Minute Live Stream: viewers confirm before joining and are charged from their wallet per minute while they watch.

Private per-minute viewers can stop watching at any time. Creators should set clear prices and stream lengths, and viewers should make sure they have enough wallet balance before joining a private live stream.

Commission is deducted before live stream earnings are added to the creator monetization balance. Admin live stream settings control the allowed prices, duration limits, and whether private per-minute streams are available.

Digital product sales

YellPost supports marketplace digital products for creators who want to sell downloadable resources such as templates, guides, checklists, creative packs, and learning materials. Digital products use the marketplace payment flow and remain subject to the marketplace commission shown in the admin settings.

Creators should describe exactly what buyers receive, avoid misleading claims, and make sure their download files are safe, relevant, and owned or properly licensed by them.
